The first camera I ever used was a Kodak disposable film camera when I was around 6 years old that cost my mum more money than sense to have the film developed, because I was a snap happy kid. In 2016 I purchased my first DSLR, and in 2017 my first full frame DSLR in the Canon 5D Mark III and worked to build a portfolio in wedding photography and pet portraits before I took a several year long hiatus from my passion.

In 2025, I acquired my first mirrorless full frame camera in the canon R6 Mark II, and a RF 70-200 f/2.8 lens. I've been working to refine my skills and rebuild my portfolio with a pivot in my specialty towards candid photography in this time, while I learn the art of Dog Conformation Show Photography and Dog Sports Photography, and the occassional video project.

Cedar Productions Photography is named in honour of my senior Siberian Husky, Cedar. She is my heart dog and has touched the lives of many people. The logo is a nod to the woman and the dog who sparked my interest in returning to my passion. You know exactly who you are.

I am surrounded by life changing, incredible dogs and people and I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my time than being with my family, with a dog at my side and a camera in my hands.
